How the IB works with publishers and others
The IB seeks to collaborate with organizations that share similar values and goals, so that it can expand its capacity to reach an international audience for its publications, and in particular to produce new publications that would not be obligatory, but which could be offered for sale to schools, teachers, students or parents.
The IB does not produce or endorse core subject textbooks that might be seen as prescribed texts for students. It concentrates on producing additional support materials for teachers and students that complement its holistic philosophy. As well as subject materials, it is considering professional development and management titles for publication.
The IB is open to other suggestions from publishers or organizations for publications that might be produced in cooperation. Please contact the IB via publishing.proposals@ibo.org.
